Technology Used

SEAWAVeS applies contemporary technology using the Fused Location Provider Application Programming Interface (API) to retrieve the device's current location. To track and monitor a watercraft using Android sensors of mobile phones, the work includes calibrating the compass, GPS, and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM). General packet radio service (GPRS) sends the tracking information to the server.

Features

If the watercraft is at a critical level, alert messages are sent to the monitoring system, and to the registered mobile number of the watercraft owner. Also, a warning display and sound are produced by the device.

Real-time Vessel Monitoring

SEAWAVeS provides continuous tracking of watercraft location, speed, and heading using built-in GPS and sensors, ensuring safety and operational efficiency at sea.

Automated Distress Alerts

When the watercraft is in distress, the device automatically sends an alert to the monitoring system and the registered mobile number of the watercraft owner.

User-Friendly Dashboard

An intuitive web and mobile interface allows vessel owners, operators, and authorities to monitor multiple vessels, review trip history, and manage alerts with ease.
